This PRS 408, finished in custom color Ezira Verde, features an incredible flame maple top. The grain is bold and well balanced, and something about the intense green finish on this guitar pulls the really crisp definition out of the top even more. Every PRS top is unique, and this one is no exception - you won't see another top quite like it. The body and Pattern neck carve are made of reliable, tone-efficient mahogany, and the fretboard is rosewood with bird inlays. The electronics on this guitar are something special. The neck pickup is a bit slimmer than a standard humbucker, and the bridge pickup is a bit fatter. The result is an increased tonal spectrum in the bridge with a tighter low in the neck end and more articulate highs throughout. A mini-toggle coil tap for each of these unique pickups provides sparkling, vocal like tone. PRS Phase III locking tuners and the PRS tremolo ensure tuning stability no matter what. The PRS 408 is an exquisite, tonally liberated guitar with its own personality and a top worth showing off.
